Gibson TB-100 (1962)
A great example of a vintage Gibson banjo ready for conversion! This banjo which dates to 1962 according to our research features a 3 ply 5/8” rim, clean maple burst resonator, original tuners, one piece flange, and a new head, is just begging for a good 5 String neck and maybe even a tone ring (unless you’re like me and love these rolled brass hoops) to be ready for the upcoming festival season.
comes in its original tenor case.
It came with a tailpiece of unknown origin with no hanger bolt. I’d imagine whomever converts it would like a more traditional tailpiece, but the original will be included in the case.
